Gas Employee Named Florida’s “Natural Gas Marketing Person of the Year”

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater Gas Sales Representative Lupita Newell was named by the Florida Natural Gas Association (FNGA) as the Statewide 2009 Marketing Person of the Year during FNGA’s Annual Marketing Conference in Orlando, Florida on Sept. 30, 2009.

Newell began her service with Clearwater Gas System in 1995 as an Administrative Assistant and quickly advanced to become one of the top Sales Representatives in her role as an Inside Sales Representative, responsible for primarily selling gas appliances to existing customers.

“Lupita’s dedication and loyalty is a testament to the truly outstanding customer service and support that she provides when working with gas customers”, said Chuck Warrington, Managing Director. This is the fifth time a Clearwater Gas employee has received this honor since 1991.

Clearwater Gas System is the fourth largest municipal gas system in Florida and ranks 34th out of nearly 1,000 public gas systems in the United States.
